April 2012—Jim contributed Green Chemistry education material to the University of Oregon: "Identifying chemical compounds in solution by physical and chemical properties."
March 2012—Jim presented the paper “Green chemistry in general chemistry and COR at Edgewood College” at the American Chemical Society national meeting in San Diego.
May 2012—Amy received a WEEB Grant to develop K-8 curriculum on environmental education.
She will be working with Edgewood Campus School teachers and staff to develop K-8 curriculum that includes environmental education specifically related to Lake Wingra watershed. The project involves a summer 2012 workshop, curriculum development during the year (by the teachers/staff) and implementation.
